This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Deliver telephonic professional nursing services in alignment with client-funded contracts.
β’ Initiate outbound phone calls to patients participating in patient programs.
β’ Handle inbound calls from patients, healthcare professionals, and consumers.
β’ Address inquiries and recommend suitable patient resources.
β’ Refer patients for additional training, support groups, program materials, or literature.
β’ Advise patients to consult their personal physicians for further information, guidance, and care.
β’ Compile accurate, timely, and clear data, concluding with summaries of follow-up calls, patient inquiries, and outcomes.
β’ Conduct patient education regarding product usage.
β’ Engage in program-specific customer meetings and training sessions.
β’ Attend orientation meetings and demonstrate clinical competency through electronic or written assessments.
β’ Undertake special projects and other responsibilities related to contract performance.
β’ An associate degree and a professional nursing license are required.
β’ A Practical Nurse License (LPN) in good standing in the state of employment and/or cross-licensed in other states.
β’ Telephonic nursing positions necessitate a Compact State License in eligible states.
β’ The employee must be prepared to obtain a Compact State license once their state adopts Compact legislation.
β’ Telephonic nursing roles require a California State License; candidates do not need to possess it at the time of hire but must be willing to acquire it upon employment.
β’ Willingness to obtain additional single-state licenses upon request is necessary.
β’ A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required.
β’ Fundamental database and office navigation skills are essential.
β’ Possess the ability to maintain a high level of customer interaction/service skills while communicating with patients, prescribers, and/or specialty pharmacies via phone.
β’ Capability to multitask in both PC and phone-related tasks is needed.
β’ Must adhere to approved scripted materials consistently.
β’ Ability to interpret information provided by the patient to discern the appropriate next steps for each individual case.
β’ Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM CST, with one late night per week from 10 AM to 7 PM CST.
