Lower Elementary Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct personalized online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4 throughout North America, adhering to the CCSS framework.

• Instruct in English utilizing interactive and student-focused techniques to enhance engagement, reinforce understanding of core concepts, and address inquiries in real-time.

• Develop lesson materials tailored to the specific needs of each student, ensuring structured and high-quality teaching.

• Offer prompt feedback and targeted support to foster student comprehension and ongoing progress.

• Exhibit patience and warmth while engaging with young learners, adjusting your communication style to maintain the interest and motivation of lower elementary students.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher; preferred majors include Math, Education, or related disciplines.

• Previous teaching experience or possession of a valid teaching certificate is strongly preferred.

• Must be available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends (in US time zones).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
