This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Efficiently and professionally manage a desk and caseload of claims.
• Conduct thorough investigations into claims, focusing on coverage, liability, and exposure.
• Assess exposures and maintain precise, timely reserves.
• Oversee and address litigation matters.
• Analyze claims for potential settlement and negotiate with claimants and their attorneys.
• Supervise and handle medical-related issues.
• Review claims for effective resolution.
• Ensure that claim files are well-documented and current.
• Verify that payments are appropriate, timely, and accurate.
• Fulfill ongoing education requirements to uphold licensing.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency with workers’ compensation statutes applicable to designated states.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in multi-state commercial claims is essential.
• Previous experience with lost time workers’ compensation claims is preferred.
• Maintain all necessary professional licenses.
• Successfully complete tests in states where licensing is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with PC operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to deliver professional and friendly customer service.
• Capable of functioning effectively within a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Skilled in determining necessary next steps and responding proactively.
