Loss Prevention Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Facilitate and advocate for safe work practices by establishing and assessing safety processes, policies, and protocols.

• Collaborate closely with the Workers' Compensation Specialist on potential fraudulent claims and ensure the use of investigative tools in the field.

• Deliver training to field leaders and store personnel on behavioral safety methods and inventory management techniques.

• Identify stores with significant losses through analysis of store reports and other relevant tools.

• Respond to critical incidents, criminal reports, catastrophic events, severe weather, and civil disturbances; suggest corrective measures.

• Detect safety and health issues by surveying operational and occupational conditions and investigating violations.

• Investigate asset misappropriation and coordinate legal action, corrective measures, and restitution.

• Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, civil defense, first aid organizations, and community groups.

• Conduct inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points; organize and complete security tasks; assist with the repair of surveillance equipment.

• Ensure a safe and secure working environment by enforcing safety practices, providing information, and delivering training.

• Enhance professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and involvement in professional organizations.

• Support team objectives by meeting Financial and Key Result Area targets in accordance with Company Plan guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in law enforcement or criminal justice is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in the retail industry is required.

• Familiarity with criminal investigation and safety protocols.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and law enforcement agencies.

• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred.

• Clean driving record.

• Willingness to travel.

• Highly innovative and energetic.

• Strong leadership qualities.
