This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Conduct objective, defensible in-person IMEs for Longshore cases.
• Execute thorough peer reviews of medical records.
• Deliver detailed and timely written reports.
• Ensure adherence to LHWCA standards and documentation requirements.
• Possess an active, unrestricted medical license (TX, LA, CA preferred; other states welcome).
• US Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedics, Audiology, Otolaryngology, Psychiatry, or a related specialty.
• **Must be AMA 6th Edition Certified (or willing to obtain certification)**.
• Prior experience with Longshore IME and/or Peer Review is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and report-writing capabilities.
• Ability to independently manage case timelines.
• Preferred Experience: Experience conducting 30+ Longshore IMEs and/or Peer Reviews.
• Previous collaboration with third-party administrators (TPAs), insurance carriers, employers, or IME vendors.
• Experience with multi-state Longshore cases.
