This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Propel product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies via both in-person and virtual communications.
• Recognize and tackle territory-specific opportunities and obstacles to product success.
• Oversee promotional resources and manage the budget effectively.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Foster communication with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Inform physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders about product advantages.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a comparable background.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in science or a related field along with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales or long-term care, with a focus on Psychology or Neurology highly preferred.
• Strong preference for experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution.
• Psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience strongly favored.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
• Understanding of best practices within the functional discipline and related business concepts.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare regulatory and enforcement frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives and achieving launch success in complex settings.
• Capability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient computer skills and a solid grasp of business systems.
• Expertise in sales platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong sales and account management aptitude.
• Capability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.

• Should reside within the geographical area of the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; position entails frequent driving.
