Logistics & Supply Chain Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement extensive logistics and supply chain strategies that align with the goals of the organization.

• Supervise strategic procurement, inventory oversight, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and supplier management.

• Cultivate relationships and negotiate agreements with suppliers, carriers, logistics providers, and other external stakeholders.

• Track inventory levels, forecast demand, manage stock rotation, and determine replenishment needs.

• Evaluate supply chain performance data and propose recommendations aimed at enhancing efficiency and minimizing costs.

• Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.

• Identify operational risks and formulate contingency plans to ensure supply chain resilience.

• Ensure adherence to regulations, company policies, safety standards, and trade-related requirements.

• Lead, mentor, and support personnel within the logistics and supply chain teams.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding procurement needs, deliveries, inventory, and operational objectives.

• Assess and implement technologies and systems that enhance supply chain visibility, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain operations.

• Provide support for international logistics, customs regulations, and trade compliance processes as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management.

• Proven track record in managing supply chain initiatives and achieving measurable operational outcomes.

• In-depth knowledge of procurement, inventory management, demand planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, or similar supply chain technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret operational and financial data.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing, mentoring, and developing teams.

• Robust project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Strategic mindset capable of identifying risks, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
