Logistics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Manage customer profile information and input loads from customer tenders.

• Inform account managers about problematic loads and the actions taken.

• Communicate load status updates to receivers and customers.

• Oversee daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring on-time and undamaged arrival.

• Receive check calls from drivers and confirm timely deliveries.

• Verify load data before marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes.

• Investigate product discrepancies, including overages, shortages, and damages, and complete necessary documentation.

• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments as needed.

• Accept or decline loads based on guidance from account managers.

• Provide detailed directions and instructions to effectively route drivers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics.

• General understanding of the transportation industry.

• Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.

• Capability to apply common sense reasoning to execute instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
