Logistics Engineering Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Create material handling equipment using AutoCAD.

• Oversee project installation, vendor evaluations, and procurement processes.

• Enhance current systems and procedures to boost efficiency and capacity.

• Formulate both short-term and long-term capital strategies to accommodate growth in distribution center volume.

• Manage all facets of assigned engineering projects from start to finish.

• Analyze historical data to forecast critical timing sequences and anticipated construction costs.

• Develop innovative solutions for the prompt installation of equipment.

• Explore cutting-edge technologies for relevance to TJX Companies.

• Guide Project Engineers and spearhead special initiatives.

• Manage capital projects valued at $100 million or more.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.

• Over 6 years of experience in Engineering and Project Management.

• Proven experience with material handling systems.

• Preferred experience in Distribution Centers or Retail environments.

• Proficient in AutoCAD design.

• Knowledge of work methods analysis.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and conflict resolution abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities, working independently and collaboratively.

• Project Management experience with team leadership.

• Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel 40%-60% of the time.
