Logistics Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain precise loads in the TMS, incorporating rates, pickup and delivery details, reference numbers, commodity data, weights, temperatures, and other shipment information.

• Assess customer tenders and shipment details for completeness, accuracy, equipment needs, special instructions, and specific customer requirements.

• Detect and address discrepancies in shipment information prior to dispatch.

• Organize and oversee pickup and delivery scheduling.

• Collaborate with the Customer Sales and Carrier Sales teams to execute shipments.

• Work in conjunction with the Track & Trace team, facilitating transitions between teams and shifts.

• Monitor and provide assistance with operational exceptions, appointment challenges, missing details, paperwork issues, and shipment interruptions.

• Examine delivered loads and gather Bills of Lading, Proofs of Delivery, lumper receipts, scale tickets, and additional documentation.

• Confirm load documentation and associated charges.

• Finalize and prepare loads for billing, resolve any documentation issues, update the TMS, and submit paperwork to billing/accounting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, trucking, dispatch, administrative roles, or operations is essential.

• Familiarity with Aljex (TMS) is preferred.

• Proficient computer and data-entry capabilities are required.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to accurately enter and verify detailed information.

• Ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines concurrently.

• Comfortable communicating via phone, email, and messaging platforms.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced transportation setting.

• English courses are available, although there is no specific English-language proficiency requirement mentioned.
