Logistics Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and monitor active shipments during weekend hours, ensuring real-time visibility and service excellence.

• Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status, delivery timelines, and operational challenges.

• Keep customer portals, systems, and shipment records updated with precise and timely information.

• Organize pickup and delivery schedules, ensuring all customer requirements are fulfilled.

• Detect, escalate, and resolve service interruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational anomalies.

• Address customer inquiries and complaints, delivering prompt solutions and follow-up.

• Compile and share overnight reports, ensuring all crucial updates and exceptions are communicated to the daytime operations team.

• Maintain thorough documentation and work collaboratively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and account management within the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.

• A recent degree from a college or university in Marketing or a related Business field is required.

• Previous experience in an analyst role or in pricing functions is advantageous.

• Ability to comprehend business processing requirements through technology and devise creative solutions for implementation.

• Experience in B2B sales involving complex deals is a plus.

• Strong understanding of the sales planning process.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills along with robust interpersonal and customer relationship abilities.

• Proven negotiation skills with a successful closing track record.

• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
