Marketplace Logistics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the daily operations of LBA's logistics activities.

• Oversee the live order pipeline, which includes managing open, overdue, and aging orders.

• Allocate ownership and set resolution dates for shipments at risk.

• Handle carrier exceptions and facilitate customer communication in collaboration with CX.

• Conduct weekly reconciliations of carrier billing and address any discrepancies.

• Onboard seller partners through configuration, carrier mapping, SLA establishment, pilot orders, and validation for go-live.

• Implement contingency plans for peak events and oversee the readiness of carriers and sellers.

• Develop and maintain a real-time operations dashboard that tracks volume, OTIF, exceptions, aging, and seller OTD.

• Collaborate with sellers, carriers, CX, finance, and other key stakeholders.

• Generate operational summaries, seller feedback, escalation communications, and reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or last-mile operations within e-commerce, marketplaces, retail, or 3PL/carrier sectors in Colombia.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing last-mile or marketplace logistics operations.

• Proven record of owning operational KPIs such as OTIF, OTD, exception rates, and cost per shipment.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience in coordinating with carriers such as Coordinadora, Servientrega, TCC, or equivalent.

• Skilled in managing delivery exceptions from start to finish.

• Ability to hold carriers accountable through data while fostering functional relationships.

• Proficient in advanced Excel or Google Sheets.

• Capable of extracting and cross-referencing large order datasets.

• Competent in conducting data-driven root cause analyses.

• Experience with SQL, Databricks, or Looker is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with freight reconciliations across labels, pickups, and invoiced charges.

• Background in identifying and rectifying billed-weight errors and duplicate charges.

• Experience in coordinating with sellers, carriers, CX, and finance.

• Proven track record of onboarding external partners into operational workflows, including configuration, training, testing, and go-live.

• Experience in creating structured checklists and tracking go-live progress.

• Background in marketplace logistics is a significant advantage.

• Experience in early-stage, rapidly scaling operations.

• Comfort with daily stand-ups, weekly reviews, and adapting to shifting priorities.

• Openness to actively utilize AI tools, LLMs, and automated workflows.

• Conversational English proficiency is required, to be assessed via the application form.
