📋 Description

• Oversee import, export, domestic, and international logistics functions throughout Latin America, ensuring adherence to customs regulations and company policies.

• Act as the regional expert on customs processes, handling critical escalations, risk management, and resolving challenges related to customs clearance and transportation.

• Create and execute continuous improvement strategies by tracking key performance indicators, logistics expenses, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

• Manage the relationships and performance of customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers in the region.

• Work closely with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Projects, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure successful planning and execution of logistics and customs operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong experience in customs operations, international trade, import/export activities, and logistics across Latin America.

• Prior experience with customs and logistics processes in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and ideally Venezuela.

• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, special customs regimes, international trade documentation, Incoterms, and management of logistics providers.

• Proficiency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish at an advanced level.
