This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Oversee import, export, domestic, and international logistics operations throughout Latin America, ensuring adherence to customs regulations and organizational policies.
• Act as the regional expert on customs procedures, handling critical escalations, risk management, and resolving customs clearance and transportation issues.
• Create and execute continuous improvement strategies by tracking key performance indicators, logistics expenses, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships and evaluate the performance of customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers in the region.
• Work in collaboration with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Projects, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams to guarantee effective planning and execution of logistics and customs functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Robust experience in customs operations, international trade, import/export processes, and international logistics throughout Latin America.
• Prior experience with customs and logistics procedures in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and ideally Venezuela.
• Comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations, special customs regimes, international trade documentation, Incoterms, and logistics provider management.
• Proficient in English, Portuguese, and Spanish languages.
