This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct comprehensive Localization QA test cycles across various platforms, operating systems, and testing environments, including Production.
• Review, verify, edit, evaluate, and translate content across a diverse array of media and content types.
• Assess localized content for tone, grammar, context, cultural relevance, and linguistic accuracy.
• Analyze user interface behavior for issues related to truncation, clipping, alignment, wrapping, and encoding.
• Clearly and accurately report and monitor bugs; retest to ensure corrections are effective.
• Offer constructive feedback and recommendations concerning linguistic mistakes, user experience issues, and functional flaws.
• Contribute to updates and suggestions for Style Guides and Terminology Databases.
• Assist with various localization QA tasks, including spot checks and build validations.
• Collaborate with localization project managers, translators, developers, and QA teams.
• Propose enhancements to processes or workflows to boost QA efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
• Native-level fluency in the target language.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Technologically adept; comfortable testing across various tools, devices, and platforms.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, as well as bug tracking and reporting practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to recognize subtle linguistic or UI issues.
• Capable of clearly and professionally communicating findings.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in QA, Localization QA, or linguistic testing (preferred).
• Familiarity with CAT tools or localization platforms (e.g., Worldserver, memoQ, Smartling, Lokalise) (preferred).
• Knowledge of internationalization and multilingual UX concepts (preferred).
• Familiar with various file formats, such as .CSV, JSON, HTML, Unicode, etc. (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in macOS/iOS environments (preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting (preferred).
• Experience working collaboratively with distributed or cross-functional teams (preferred).
