Loan Servicing Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Support recovery initiatives for accounts that are 5 to 80 days overdue.

• Assist customers with inquiries regarding daily interest accrual, payment schedules, and requests to change due dates.

• Employ both auto-dialing and manual calling techniques to engage with customers and establish payment solutions.

• Reach out to customers via phone to collect overdue payments and negotiate payment plans.

• Record customer interactions and account activities utilizing collection software and systems.

• Evaluate delinquent accounts, formulate collection strategies, identify at-risk customers, and escalate complex cases or disputes as necessary.

• Track payment patterns and proactively reach out to customers facing financial challenges.

• Decrease delinquency rates while achieving collection goals and resolution metrics.

• Work in collaboration with legal, customer service, and other internal departments.

• Adhere to company policies, the FDCPA, and applicable regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• 0–3 years of relevant professional experience.

• Prior experience in collections, customer service, or a similar field.

• Strong negotiation abilities.

• In-depth understanding of collections processes, payment systems, and relevant collections laws and regulations.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage a large portfolio of accounts.

• Proficiency in collection software and systems, as well as basic office applications like MS Office.

• Capability to handle challenging or complex customer situations with professionalism.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Keen attention to detail with accurate account documentation and tracking.

• Goal-driven with a focus on individual and team performance objectives.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios and efficiently resolve disputes or complaints.
