Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, develop, and finalize prospective borrowers for bridge loans.

• Build and sustain robust business relationships with borrowers.

• Collect necessary documentation and financial details from potential borrowers.

• Report on business development and sales activities.

• Meet with new and current prospects.

• Assist in creating and implementing business strategies backed by comprehensive market and competitor analysis.

• Source, evaluate, nurture, and finalize connections for MMTC’s bridge loan initiatives.

• Provide bridge financing to builders while maintaining relationships with residential real estate Fix & Flip and Ground Up construction borrowers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in originating bridge loans.

• A minimum of $3 million in self-sourced monthly pipeline.

• A well-established book of business.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and basic computer skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• High motivation and a proactive approach to identify problems, provide solutions, build relationships, and navigate institutional decision-making.

• Collaborative mindset towards completing tasks.

• Team-oriented attitude.

• Strong critical thinking skills regarding risk and quality of originated assets.

• Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and adhere to set deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and be self-driven with measurable outcomes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Navigator, and Teams.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
