This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Originate residential mortgage loans by discussing loan options, processing applications, and collecting necessary documentation and information.
• Build and sustain a pipeline of mortgage opportunities while fulfilling production and service expectations.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, closing, and other internal teams throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, programs, policies, and industry regulations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, as well as federal and state regulations, including the SAFE Act.
• Address inquiries from clients, partners, and referral sources.
• Educate borrowers about mortgage products, lending guidelines, and the loan process.
• Analyze financial information to identify suitable financing solutions.
• Establish and nurture relationships with real estate professionals, builders, attorneys, financial experts, and other referral partners.
• Engage in networking events, industry organizations, and community activities.
• Attend occasional off-site meetings, events, and industry functions.
• Experience in analyzing information and making informed business decisions.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience collaborating in a team-oriented setting.
• Active mortgage loan originator license in the relevant state(s) where loans are originated.
• Compliance with the SAFE Act.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration and company sponsorship as required.
• Previous experience in mortgage loan origination, retail lending, or mortgage sales is preferred.
• Experience in developing and maintaining referral relationships with industry partners is preferred.
• Experience managing an active loan pipeline is preferred.
• Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA mortgage programs.
• Understanding of mortgage lending processes, documentation, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with secondary market guidelines and loan program eligibility requirements.
• Understanding of escrow, taxes, insurance, and closing documentation.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
