This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Promote and market the Impower95 loan product to lenders, small businesses, real estate and loan brokers, financial institutions, Certified Development Companies, and community development lenders.
• Develop, nurture, and manage relationships with external stakeholders and community organizations.
• Collaborate with Capital Deployment teams to explore cross-marketing opportunities.
• Represent Momentus at business and industry events by presenting to groups and individuals.
• Collect qualitative and quantitative data regarding the Impower95 product and identify areas for improvement within capital constraints.
• Identify, engage, and pre-screen prospective borrowers to discuss the loan program.
• Pre-qualify, compile, structure, and assess loan applications for eligibility, creditworthiness, and repayment capacity based on established credit guidelines.
• Document the loan structure, intended use of proceeds, business history, management information, loan purpose, and eligibility narratives in Ventures+.
• Assess loan eligibility based on geographic, occupancy, industry, and cash flow requirements.
• Evaluate creditworthiness by reviewing cash flow and credit history.
• Ensure potential borrowers meet basic credit criteria before advancing files to processing or underwriting.
• Prepare and present quarterly impact stories to CDC management and the marketing team.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, marketing, economics, finance, or urban studies from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Five years of business development experience in selling commercial real estate loan products.
• A well-established network of contacts within the real estate broker, lender, and community partner sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating reports, publications, and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to build and maintain effective working relationships across various management levels and diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
• Proficient in developing and delivering multi-modal communications tailored for different audiences.
• Understanding of commercial business and real estate loan structuring and underwriting principles.
• Familiarity with sales and marketing strategies, and the ability to educate business owners, brokers, bankers, civic personnel, and financial professionals about lending programs.
• Knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
• Acquainted with methods for presenting economic development and financing information to the public.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
