Litigation Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support attorneys in responding to interrogatories.

• Conduct client interviews and document their responses; collaborate with attorneys to finalize answers.

• Acquire, review, and summarize medical records under the guidance of trial attorneys.

• Coordinate medical examinations.

• Assist attorneys in drafting motions and researching relevant legal matters.

• Aid attorneys in interviewing witnesses during trials when necessary.

• Help attorneys prepare documents and evidence for trial.

• Perform other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• 2-year Associate's Degree or 3 years of experience as a Paralegal.

• Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies, or completion of at least one year of law school.

• Experience in California civil litigation and discovery is required.

• Preferably one year of experience in a civil litigation law firm.

• Paralegal certificate from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Candidates from neighboring states must possess California discovery experience.
