Litigation Lawyer, Japan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Execute a consistent set of prompts across two AI/LLM platforms.

• Analyze the outputs from both platforms in a side-by-side comparison.

• Evaluate each response based on a standardized scoring rubric.

• Provide concise written feedback for every assessment.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience primarily in a law firm setting, specifically in litigation, disputes, or contentious practices; 3+ years preferred.

• If currently working in-house, must have transitioned within the last 2 years and possess prior law firm experience.

• Qualified to practice in Japan as a bengoshi or a registered foreign lawyer/gaikokuho jimu bengoshi.

• Strong knowledge of Japanese litigation and procedural law.

• Native or fluent in Japanese.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Capability to work independently following a rubric and meeting deadlines.

• Initial availability of roughly 10 hours.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
