This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.
• Manage and address high-stakes General Liability cases that involve severe injuries, intricate coverage situations, and legal inquiries or disputes.
• Formulate strategies aimed at achieving satisfactory resolutions for cases.
• Review and act on various reports/forms while responding to inquiries.
• Seek legal opinions for early resolutions and communicate outcomes to relevant parties.
• Address decisions, agreements, and/or court orders; establish action plans; assess the need for examinations; and obtain client authorizations.
• Identify cases suitable for settlements or redemptions.
• Collect and document additional information, coordinating with client representatives.
• Request legal or private investigations; assign tasks to local counsel and oversee their performance.
• Respond to requests from plaintiff's counsel, unions, employees, or clients.
• Recognize issues and devise defense strategies.
• Establish or modify accrued liability and approve administrative expenses.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and oversee the related process.
• Participate in mediations, trials, arbitrations, or hearings as necessary.
• Collaborate with partners to facilitate early return-to-work initiatives.
• Execute other assigned duties.
• Contribute to the organization’s quality programs.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• A minimum of six (6) years of experience in litigation claims management (General Liability) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Must be available to work during Pacific Time Zone hours.
• Strong ability for clear and conceptual thinking.
• Exceptional judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical skills, and discretion.
• Capability to manage work-related stress effectively.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities concurrently.
• Capacity to meet deadlines consistently.
• Proficient computer keyboarding skills.
