This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Investigate automobile accidents that involve one or more vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury, including cases with attorney/litigation involvement.
β’ Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.
β’ Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entirety of the claims process.
β’ Engage with customers and attorneys via phone calls, emails, and text messages.
β’ Utilize innovative platforms and tools to negotiate equitable injury settlements.
β’ Manage represented and litigated bodily injury claims effectively.
β’ Conduct thorough damage assessments and interpret policies to ascertain coverage.
β’ Relay claim information and updates through the preferred communication channels of customers.
β’ Assess and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
β’ Implement legal and business best practices along with negotiation strategies.
β’ Employ estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms in the claims process.
β’ Adhere to policies as per agreement stipulations.
β’ Ensure clear, timely, and accurate documentation of claims in the claims management system.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience managing represented third-party Bodily Injury claims.
β’ Proven experience in handling severe, complex, and litigated Bodily Injury claims.
β’ Background in managing claims in Kentucky, Tennessee, and/or Mississippi.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Gross Tort Value and Risk Analysis is an advantage.
β’ Familiarity with NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center is a plus.
β’ Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
β’ Capability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.
β’ Understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
β’ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Awareness of innovative tools and platforms for claims assessment.
β’ Must have a home office in the United States; this position is not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
β’ A dedicated private workspace at home that is free from distractions.
β’ Minimum internet speed of 50 MB down and 5 MB up.
β’ Suitable work surface and seating arrangements.
β’ Candidates are required to undergo a background investigation.
β’ An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary within 60 days of hiring, depending on the office/area.
β’ Applicants with active insurance licenses must cancel existing appointments and are not permitted to hold outside appointments during their employment.
