Linux/Application Administrator – Learning Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure the dependable functioning and ongoing enhancement of learning management systems and applications, including ILIAS.

• Manage, administer, and further advance the learning management system (ILIAS), incorporating LTI and SCORM integrations.

• Install, configure, maintain, and integrate specialized applications into the current system landscape.

• Guarantee stable system performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, and management of patches and releases.

• Design, develop, and sustain APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and automation solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MariaDB).

• Proficient in automation and scripting with PHP, Bash, and JavaScript.

• Experience in managing operations and applications of complex specialized applications.

• Practical experience with learning management systems (such as ILIAS) and relational databases.

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration (preferred).

• Excellent proficiency in the German language, both written and spoken.

• Structured and independent working style with high quality standards.
