Linguist, Malayalam and English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute linguistic project tasks that encompass categorization, annotation, correction, transcription, evaluation, conversational interactions, voice recording, content creation, localization, and validation.

• Engage with audio, video, images, sentences, or words.

• Fulfill assignments remotely via an online platform that is accessible 24/7.

• Complete required assessments to evaluate qualifications and advance in the selection process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Malayalam; capable of accurately listening and writing without spelling errors.

• Proficient in English; capable of accurately listening and writing without spelling errors.

• Competent in computer use.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Preferred but not essential: experience in computational linguistics, corpus analysis, language data annotation, or LLM training.

• A computer with at least 4GB of RAM.

• A microphone and webcam.

• Operating system of Windows 10 or higher, or macOS 13 Ventura or higher.

• All operating system updates must be installed and supported by the vendor.

• A stable internet connection.

• Headphones.

• A secure internet location safeguarded by a strong password.

• For audio-collection projects only: a mobile phone running Android OS.

• Tablets and iOS devices are not supported.

• Completion of mandatory qualification tests after application submission.

• Identity and credential documentation may be requested for verification purposes.
