Linear Sanitation Projects Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and monitor the progress of linear sanitation projects, ensuring technical excellence, adherence to timelines, and compliance with the agreed scope.

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams involved in project execution.

• Assist in the conception, analysis, and formulation of solutions for water supply and wastewater systems.

• Manage projects related to water distribution networks, trunk water mains, rising mains, trunk sewers, interceptors, outfalls, and wastewater collection systems.

• Assess alignment options, utility conflicts, crossings, topographical factors, and other constraints impacting infrastructure implementation.

• Evaluate and review hydraulic studies, designs, calculations, and relevant technical criteria associated with projects.

• Facilitate the integration of various project disciplines and interfaces.

• Foster client relationships by presenting, discussing, and reviewing engineering solutions.

• Organize, monitor, and manage physical and financial schedules, assessing outcomes, risks, and variances.

• Assist in making decisions regarding technical alternatives, taking into account constructability, operational feasibility, and economic viability.

• Coordinate concept, alternatives, and studies on technical and economic feasibility.

• Review design briefs, technical specifications, reports, and other engineering documentation.

• Supervise surveys and conduct technical site visits.

• Evaluate construction methods and technologies relevant to projects.

• Ensure adherence to technical standards, regulatory requirements, quality benchmarks, and industry best practices.

• Encourage team collaboration, organization, and engagement.

• Identify technical and execution risks, proposing preventive measures and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Sanitary, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Substantial experience in the development of linear sanitation projects.

• Prior experience in technical coordination of projects and multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience with projects related to water supply and/or wastewater systems.

• Proficient knowledge of hydraulic design and analysis of linear systems.

• Ability to critically evaluate alignments, utility conflicts, construction techniques, and technical options.

• Familiarity with technical standards and regulations relevant to the sanitation sector.

• Competence in performing complex technical analyses and evaluating the feasibility of proposed solutions.

• Capacity to lead, coordinate, and develop multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders.

• Critical thinking skills to suggest improvements, optimizations, and technically sound solutions.

• Commitment to quality, compliance, safety, and results.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week.

• Must reside in the Greater São Paulo area or the São Paulo coast and be willing to travel to the coast when necessary.
