This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess opportunities for affordable multifamily development funded through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit.
• Create high-quality, investment-grade financial models to analyze potential investments.
• Compose Preliminary Investment Reviews (PIRs) that contain comprehensive details on proposed investments.
• Prepare submissions for the LIHTC Deal Screening Committee (LDSC).
• Build and sustain professional relationships with affordable housing developers.
• Oversee deal assignments and ensure timely completion of tasks to aid origination efforts.
• Utilize Salesforce for internal communications and to monitor key dates and project advancements.
• Resolve non-critical business matters on behalf of Originators.
• Undertake special projects for the acquisitions team as assigned.
• A BS/BA in Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field is essential; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Required experience in LIHTC development and/or finance.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Skills in relationship management.
• Proficient writing abilities; a sample of writing and/or financial modeling may be requested.
• Advanced Excel proficiency is necessary.
• Capacity to maintain a broad perspective while focusing on detailed tasks and providing comprehensive documentation.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment with numerous projects and tight deadlines.
• Highly motivated individual capable of working autonomously.
• Ability to function as a collaborative and effective team member.
