This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead sales initiatives for Life Sciences across North America, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
β’ Manage two global Key Accounts.
β’ Develop the go-to-market strategy for Life Sciences in the U.S.
β’ Collaborate with the Global Sales organization to create detailed sales plans.
β’ Direct global key account teams and implement strategies for account development.
β’ Organize and enhance coverage for global Key Accounts.
β’ Track sales activities and Key Account performance through CRM-driven metrics.
β’ Conduct monthly forecasting sessions with regional sales representatives.
β’ Assist in setting individual territory goals.
β’ Lead quarterly reviews of Key Accounts and strategic goal-setting meetings.
β’ Establish annual sales objectives, Key Account forecasts, and strategic priorities.
β’ Provide updates on competitive landscape and industry trends to the Marketing team.
β’ Travel alongside regional sales representatives for customer meetings and practical training.
β’ Propel Global Sales initiatives targeting Key Accounts, OEMs, and Channel Management.
β’ Implement the U.S. go-to-market strategy to enhance Life Sciences market reach.
β’ Foster collaboration, accountability, and professional development within the sales team.
β’ Continuously assess processes for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
β’ Report directly to the North America Sales Director and work closely with Marketing, Product Line Management, and Customer Service.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a technical, engineering, or life sciences field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a sales team with direct personnel responsibilities.
β’ At least 5 years of direct sales experience in capital equipment within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, academic, R&D, or cleanroom manufacturing industries.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in Key Account Management.
β’ Must reside in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
β’ Strong technical understanding with the capability to comprehend and explain complex solutions.
β’ Proficient in sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman), CRM systems (Salesforce), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
β’ Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities and remote teams.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
β’ Effective negotiation and consultative sales capabilities, emphasizing long-term client relationships.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
β’ Exceptional customer service orientation and dedication to client satisfaction.
β’ Willingness to travel 40β70% of the time.
β’ Knowledge of sterile pharmaceutical regulations (cGMP, FDA, USP, ISO standards) is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with PDA, ISPE, IEST, and ASTM standards is preferred.
β’ Experience in Key Account management and channel development is preferred.
β’ Proven success in leading cross-functional projects and enhancing sales processes is preferred.
