Lien Resolution Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Negotiate liens with hospitals and medical providers under the supervision of attorneys and in accordance with firm procedures.

• Review medical invoices, confirm outstanding amounts, and gather necessary documentation.

• Submit requests for reductions and follow up to secure written confirmation of negotiated terms.

• Keep precise records of balances, negotiations, agreements, and case statuses within Litify.

• Collaborate with attorneys and closing staff to address unresolved issues and prepare files for settlement disbursement.

• Meet standards for negotiated reductions, turnaround times, productivity, and accuracy.

• Direct legal inquiries and disputed liens that require legal evaluation to the relevant attorney.

• Assist injured clients in retaining a larger portion of their settlements and facilitate the disbursement of settled cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of direct experience in plaintiff personal injury reductions within a U.S. law firm.

• Proven experience in negotiating with hospitals and medical providers.

• Experience in independently managing a high-volume caseload of reductions from balance verification to written agreements and closing coordination.

• Proficient in both English and Spanish.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Competence with legal case management software; experience with Litify is preferred.

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

• Access to reliable internet, a computer, and a quiet, professional workspace is mandatory.

• Resume must be submitted in English.

• Experience in managing hospital reductions and negotiating directly with medical providers and collection agencies.

• Background in a plaintiff personal injury law firm is essential.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required; completion of Form I-9 and provision of acceptable documentation is necessary.
