This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Conduct technical audits and refactor legacy code (Java/Python) to address inefficiencies and minimize technical debt.

• Redesign the strategy for consuming AI models (Azure OpenAI / LLMs) by implementing caching techniques, prompt optimization, token management, and model selection to lower operational costs.

• Oversee the architecture in Azure (Container Apps, Storage, Table Storage, Key Vault, Communication Services) and lead decisions regarding optimization or multi-cloud migration (AWS).

• Establish best development practices, continuous integration (CI/CD) in repositories such as Bitbucket, observability (New Relic), and clean code standards.

• Define the technical roadmap to complete unfinished developments and coordinate team deliveries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in software development with at least 1 or 2 years leading Artificial Intelligence / GenAI projects in production.

• Advanced proficiency in Python and Java (Spring Boot).

• Strong experience in consuming and integrating LLMs (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex).

• Proven experience in generating Embeddings, NLP, and optimizing inference costs.

• Demonstrated expertise in Azure (Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Azure Table Storage, Key Vault, Azure OpenAI).

• Familiarity with AWS (Bedrock, S3, ECS, Lambda) in case of migration to AWS.

• Proficient in New Relic, Git/Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, and secret management.

• Basic FinOps focus (cloud and AI budget optimization).

• Technical leadership and ability to communicate effectively with enterprise architecture.
