This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Support employees with the setup required for pre-licensing, which includes coordinating exam schedules and fingerprinting.
• Assist employees in connecting with continuing education vendors.
• Help employees in notifying the Department of Insurance (DOI) regarding any changes in address or name.
• Maintain the database for licensing and compliance.
• Relay licensing and compliance concerns as well as educational opportunities to staff members.
• Carry out clerical duties for the Licensing inbox, database, compliance documentation, and educational initiatives.
• Handle correspondence to generate administrative notices and requests related to licensing, compliance, educational modifications, renewals, and inquiries.
• Preferred experience in Insurance Licensing and/or regulation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Applied Epic is preferred, but familiarity with comparable Account Management Systems (AMS) is acceptable.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management abilities are required.
• Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent use of sight to read documents and view computer screens.
• Regular use of hearing and speech for communication via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Repetitive hand movements such as typing, writing, and using a 10-key keypad.
• Involves walking, bending, sitting, reaching, and stretching in various directions.
