Licensed Social Worker, LSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide empathetic and high-quality mental health care remotely from the comfort of home.

• Care for patients of all ages.

• Complete 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients per day.

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions and thorough assessments.

• Diagnose or assist in the treatment of mental health and/or substance abuse issues.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication platforms.

• Engage in the follow-up questionnaire and recruiter interview process following applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Designated workspace at home that ensures privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to reach their goals.

• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Capability to complete 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients per day.

• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders.

• Background in treating patients with chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Experience in full-time one-on-one psychotherapy, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week.

• Current active clinical licensure, including relevant credentials such as LSW, LMSW, LPC, or equivalent.
