Licensed Social Worker, LSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide empathetic mental health care to individuals of all ages.

• Operate as a licensed provider for Medicaid and Medicare, collaborating with commercial health plans.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly.

• Manage an average caseload of 6 clients each day.

• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions.

• Diagnose or assist with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Implement thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Fill out the application questionnaire and proceed with recruiter screening if there is mutual interest.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship presently or in the future.

• A dedicated work-from-home area ensuring privacy for patient safety and adherence to HIPAA regulations.

• Proficient in English.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Ability to fulfill 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients per day.

• Experience treating patients with substance use disorders.

• Experience with individuals suffering from chronic severe mental health conditions.

• Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.

• Active or associate/intern licensure credentials such as LSW, LMSW, LPC, or an equivalent.
