This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Actively generate new business on a daily basis through a high volume of outbound calls, inbound follow-ups, and digital outreach efforts.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to convert leads into clients and successfully close deals.
• Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to follow-up and closure using Salesforce.
• Create urgency and establish credibility through strategic messaging and effective objection handling.
• Become a subject matter expert on Embark’s digital tools and assist prospects in navigating our offerings.
• Engage with leads through phone calls, video conferencing, and email communication.
• Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to optimize conversion rates and enhance the sales process.
• Adhere to Embark’s structured sales process while delivering a remarkable client experience from the initial contact through onboarding.
• Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• Execute targeted outbound campaigns and follow up on inbound leads generated from the website, marketing efforts, and referral partners.
• Maintain precise records and reporting of the Salesforce pipeline.
• Keep abreast of market trends and product knowledge to provide tailored solutions.
• Participate in training sessions, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure that client interactions comply with regulatory standards and Embark’s Code of Conduct.
• Support operational enhancements and process improvements.
• Share insights, assist colleagues, and contribute to a culture of high performance and inclusivity.
• Report directly to the Director of Sales.
• Demonstrated success in inside sales, consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Strong experience in cold calling and outbound sales; adept at handling objections and closing deals.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities; clear, persuasive, and focused on customer needs.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital tools for virtual selling.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills; capable of thriving in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn about financial products and services.
• Possess a growth mindset; adaptable to change, receptive to feedback, and able to navigate evolving priorities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Licensed by your provincial authority and recognized by the RESP Dealers Association of Canada (preferred asset).
• Bilingualism in French, Mandarin, or Cantonese is a significant asset.
