This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Generate new business on a daily basis through high-volume outbound calls, inbound follow-ups, and digital outreach.
• Convert leads into clients by utilizing consultative selling techniques and value-driven discussions.
• Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to follow-up and closing with the help of Salesforce.
• Create a sense of urgency and establish credibility through strategic messaging and effective objection handling.
• Become a subject matter expert on Embark’s digital tools and assist prospects in navigating offerings.
• Engage with leads through phone calls, video conferencing, and email communications.
• Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to enhance conversion rates and refine the sales process.
• Adhere to Embark’s structured sales process and ensure a positive client experience during onboarding.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
• Execute targeted outbound campaigns and follow up on inbound leads generated from the website, marketing efforts, and referral partners.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting.
• Keep abreast of market trends and product knowledge to offer customized solutions.
• Participate in training, coaching, and performance evaluation sessions.
• Ensure that client interactions adhere to regulatory standards and Embark’s Code of Conduct.
• Contribute to operational improvements and process enhancements.
• Share insights, support colleagues, and foster a culture of performance and inclusion.
• Report directly to the Director of Sales.
• Proven track record in inside sales, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong experience in cold calling and outbound sales; adept at managing objections and closing deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; articulate, persuasive, and customer-centric.
• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and digital tools for virtual selling.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Familiarity with or a willingness to learn about financial products and services.
• A growth mindset, adaptable to change, receptive to feedback, and comfortable with shifting priorities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Licensed by your provincial authority and recognized by the RESP Dealers Association of Canada (preferred asset).
• Bilingualism (French, Mandarin, or Cantonese) is a significant asset.
