This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Interact with members through phone, email, and various channels to assist with quotes, new policies, billing questions, underwriting inquiries, and policy modifications.
• Establish rapport and trust by asking insightful questions, comprehending member needs, and delivering accurate solutions to reduce transfers and escalations.
• Execute insurance transactions such as endorsements, cancellations, and coverage modifications while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
• Work in conjunction with insurance carriers and internal teams to address issues and provide timely, accurate information.
• Maintain necessary certifications and actively seek opportunities to enhance product knowledge.
• Achieve performance metrics related to service quality, responsiveness, and member satisfaction.
• High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exhibiting a professional and empathetic tone.
• Capability to multitask across various applications while sustaining focus and accuracy.
• Must hold an Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license.
• Typing speed of 20 WPM with 90% accuracy is required.
• Strong understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory standards.
• Proficient research and internet skills; quick learner across different subjects and systems.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort with digital tools are necessary.
• High-speed Internet via a wired ethernet connection; Wi-Fi, satellite, cellular hotspot, or cellular internet is not permitted.
• Upload speed of 5 Mbps and download speed of 50 Mbps is required.
• Internet service provider must demonstrate high stability with 1% or less packet loss and latency under 100ms.
• Accessible cell phone or tablet and ability to install mandatory 2FA software.
• A quiet interview environment is essential, free of Bluetooth devices, smart watches, extra computers, or writing instruments; doors should be closed, and phones are not allowed.
