This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Communicate with members through phone, email, and various channels to provide assistance with quotes, new policies, billing inquiries, underwriting questions, and policy modifications.
• Establish rapport and trust by asking insightful questions, understanding member needs, and providing accurate solutions to reduce transfers and escalations.
• Execute insurance transactions such as endorsements, cancellations, and coverage adjustments while ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
• Work collaboratively with insurance carriers and internal teams to address issues and deliver timely, precise information.
• Maintain necessary certifications and actively seek opportunities to enhance product knowledge.
• Achieve performance metrics related to service quality, responsiveness, and member satisfaction.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
• Capability to multitask across various applications while maintaining focus and accuracy.
• An Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license is required.
• Typing speed of 20 WPM with 90% accuracy is expected.
• A solid understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory standards is essential.
• Strong research and internet skills; ability to quickly learn across different subjects and systems.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfort with digital tools are required.
• High-speed Internet through a wired ethernet connection; Wi-Fi, Satellite, Cellular Hotspot, or Cellular Internet is not acceptable.
• Upload speed of 5 Mbps and download speed of 50 Mbps is required.
• Internet service provider must have 1% or less packet loss and latency under 100ms.
• An available cell phone or tablet and the ability to install required 2FA software is necessary.
• A quiet work environment that meets the stated interview requirements is essential.
• Hourly pay rate – $22.50
