Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality mental health care to individuals of all ages.

• Collaborate with commercial health plans while serving Medicaid and Medicare patients.

• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize comprehensive assessments and work in partnership with clients to reach their goals.

• Conduct around 30 hours of client care each week, averaging six clients daily.

• Employ telehealth, video communication, and internal communication technologies.

• Fulfill additional state licensure requirements as necessary for market growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

• Continuous, unrestricted U.S. work authorization without the need for visa sponsorship or renewal.

• A private, HIPAA-compliant workspace at home to ensure patient safety.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish fluency is preferred, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Compliance with background and regulatory standards.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience working with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Currently fully licensed in at least one state, with independent practice capability.

• Willingness to complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaged over six clients per day.

• Openness to obtaining additional state licenses as Brave Health expands its services.
