Licensed Professional Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual psychosocial evaluations and provide individual psychotherapy via a telehealth platform, utilizing audio-only sessions when video access is unavailable for patients.

• Implement time-sensitive, goal-oriented, and skill-based therapy employing CBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation techniques.

• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups.

• Offer support and advocacy for caregivers and family members of individuals with dementia and serious mental health conditions.

• Record treatment responses and monitor clinical symptoms in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Participate in daily team huddles for collaborative care.

• Identify social determinants of health needs that the care team can address.

• Provide telehealth therapy to adults dealing with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and dementia as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active and unrestricted LPC license in Pennsylvania.

• Must have maintained a full license for a minimum of 4 years.

• Capability to bill Medicare is essential.

• Experience in delivering psychotherapy through telehealth platforms.

• Proficient in screening, assessing, and developing treatment plans for common mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Familiarity with evidence-based brief behavioral interventions, including motivational interviewing, problem-solving treatment, and behavioral activation.

• A private home workspace and dependable internet connection are required.

• Approximately 20 hours of work per week, with potential adjustments based on patient volume.
