This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Accept client referrals and manage a minimum caseload of 18 hours weekly.

• Provide individual counseling or conduct family sessions to help clients overcome dependencies, adapt to life changes, or implement necessary transformations.

• Initiate internal referrals to the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) if there is minimal to no progress within 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills and strategies to effectively address their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans grounded in clinical expertise, setting SMART goals with the patient.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours post-intake and revise or adjust them every 4 weeks.

• Complete and uphold all client-related documentation, including diagnostic assessments and progress notes.

• Draft progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Prepare and keep all necessary treatment records and reports updated.

• Assess clients' physical or mental conditions by reviewing relevant client information.

• Collaborate with team members to conduct clinical evaluations and develop treatment plans within 2 days of commencing care for an existing patient.

• Refer clients, patients, or their families to community resources or specialists when appropriate.

• Stay informed about advancements in counseling through professional literature, courses, seminars, or interactions with other social service organizations.
