Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist (LMHC, LMFT)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Deliver full-time outpatient therapy services via Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality mental health care to individuals of all ages.

• Diagnose mental health issues and/or substance use disorders.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to reach their care objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools to deliver care.

• Complete 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Facilitate access to care for patients with commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master’s degree and appropriate licensure are necessary.

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• A private workspace at home is required to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses is required.

• Experience in treatment planning is needed.

• Comfort with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools is necessary.

• Prior experience collaborating with clients to achieve their goals is essential.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments is required.

• Current independent licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, or an equivalent credential is mandatory.

• Willingness to maintain a schedule of 30 client care hours each week, averaging 6 clients per day.

• Experience in working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder is preferred.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed for market expansion is required.
