Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Deliver empathetic mental health care to individuals across various age groups.

• Offer psychotherapy and clinical services for around 30 client care hours weekly.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their personal goals.

• Employ telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools effectively.

• Treat patients dealing with mental health issues, substance abuse, addiction, and severe chronic mental illnesses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A dedicated work-from-home environment ensuring privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfort with using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Capability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Availability for a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday during set hours.

• Commitment to completing 30 client care hours weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Experience working with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders.

• Background in treating patients with chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.
