Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide mental health treatment using technology to enhance access to care.

• Support patients of all ages through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

• Create tailored treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• May need to secure additional state licenses as Brave Health enters new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree with appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Valid independent licensure in a relevant state/credential, including LMFT or an equivalent clinical license.

• Openness to acquiring additional state licenses as needed.
