Licensed Health Insurance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls to evaluate eligibility, clarify plan options, provide estimates, and finalize enrollments.

• Initiate outbound calls during idle periods, which include D-SNP Medicaid referrals, CSNP retention outreach, and contacting dependents who will soon need their own individual plans.

• Adhere to CMS, AHIP, and internal compliance standards.

• Redirect misrouted calls and assist ineligible callers to suitable resources.

• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure that prospective and existing members have plans that align with their requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Health Insurance License.

• AHIP certification (or eligible to obtain it).

• Experience in health insurance sales, specifically Medicare/D-SNP.

• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Teams).

• Positive attitude, coachable, and focused on customer satisfaction.

• Virginia license required.

• Willingness to work the specified seasonal schedules, which include rotating shifts and two weekends per month from October through March.
