Licensed Clinical Social Worker – MA Licensure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver GI-centered behavioral services to adult patients with gastrointestinal issues.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers in a digitally integrated setting.

• Implement evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation, and gut-directed hypnotherapy.

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop specific goals that enhance clients’ GI-related outcomes.

• Initiate and manage health records and patient encounters within the electronic health record system.

• Adhere to company clinical protocols and associated manuals.

• Engage in professional development activities to maintain licensure and expand knowledge.

• Attend clinical coordination meetings with team members.

• Contribute to the establishment of psychological best practices and offer professional insights to enhance member experiences.

• Report directly to the BH Pod Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Massachusetts and possess either NY or MA LCSW Licensure.

• Hold a Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

• Maintain an active license to practice therapy in good standing.

• Have 3+ years of relevant experience providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and teaching relaxation techniques that affect the brain-gut connection.

• Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing is required.

• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with MDs, Nurse Practitioners, Health Coaches, and Registered Dietitians.

• Proficient and comfortable using Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or similar administrative technologies.

• Experience with electronic charting is necessary.

• Previous experience in delivering services on telehealth platforms is preferred.

• Experience in GI-focused care is preferred but not mandatory.
