Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver full-time outpatient clinical therapy services through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide mental health treatment directly to patients utilizing technology-enabled care.

• Assess and diagnose mental health or substance abuse disorders.

• Create tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients.

• Partner with clients to help them reach their personal goals.

• Execute thorough assessments to inform treatment strategies.

• Offer care to patients of all ages through various health plans, including commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Average 30 client care hours per week, with around 6 clients each day.

• Opportunity to acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and relevant licensure required.

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• A dedicated work-from-home environment that ensures privacy for patient safety and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish fluency is preferred, and knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Familiarity with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning is essential.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication platforms, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients to meet their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments effectively.

• Must currently hold an independent license in the relevant state(s).

• Willingness to maintain an average of 30 client care hours per week, seeing approximately 6 clients daily.

• Experience working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
