Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient care through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Deliver empathetic and high-quality mental health services.

• Serve patients across all age groups.

• Offer services to individuals insured by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Diagnose and evaluate mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their goals.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Manage approximately six clients daily, accumulating 30 client care hours weekly.

• Work with patients experiencing severe chronic mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health grows into new regions when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A work-from-home environment with privacy to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish fluency is preferred; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnosis.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as necessary for expansion.

• Capacity to complete 30 client care hours weekly.
