Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient clinical therapy services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Deliver mental health treatment remotely from a home office.

• Diagnose and address mental health and/or substance use disorders.

• Create and implement treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their goals.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal messaging tools throughout the day.

• Complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Serve patients across various age groups through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without future employer sponsorship.

• Cannot support employment authorization linked to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses.

• Dedicated work-from-home space ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred, and proficiency in other languages is a bonus.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal messaging tools.

• Proven experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Currently fully/independently licensed in a relevant state.

• Willingness to complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging 6 clients per day.

• Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Eagerness to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
