Licensed Clinical Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accept referrals and manage a client caseload of no less than 18 hours per week.

• Provide counseling to clients or patients either individually or in family sessions.

• Assist clients in overcoming dependencies, adapting to life changes, or making necessary adjustments.

• Facilitate internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) when there is minimal to no progress after 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Support clients in developing effective skills and strategies for addressing their challenges.

• Create and execute treatment plans informed by clinical expertise and knowledge.

• Set SMART goals in collaboration with patients.

• Finalize treatment plans within 72 hours following intake and revise them every 4 weeks as needed.

• Complete and upkeep essential client documentation, diagnostic records, and progress notes.

• Ensure progress notes are documented within 48 hours following each session.

• Prepare and maintain required treatment records and reports.

• Assess clients' physical or mental health conditions based on collected client information.

• Work in partnership with staff on clinical assessments and treatment planning within 2 days of initiating care.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists when necessary.

• Keep abreast of advancements in counseling through professional literature, courses, seminars, and interactions with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

• Two years of professional experience in a counseling setting.

• Valid and active license to practice behavioral health in Texas.

• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in oncology.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in Telehealth environments.

• Minimum client caseload of 18 hours per week.

• Capability to provide both individual and family counseling.

• Proficiency in developing and implementing treatment plans and SMART goals.

• Ability to finalize treatment plans within 72 hours post-intake.

• Competence to update or adjust treatment plans every 4 weeks.

• Skill in completing progress notes within 48 hours after each session.

• Capacity to collaborate on clinical assessments and treatment plans within 2 days of initiating care.

• Ability to make internal referrals to IOP when there is minimal to no improvement after 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Current and valid Texas behavioral health licensure.
