Licensed Clinical Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accept client referrals and manage a caseload of at least 18 hours per week.

• Provide counseling to clients or patients on an individual basis and/or in family sessions.

• Make internal referrals to Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) if there is minimal to no improvement after 8 weeks of outpatient therapy.

• Assist clients in developing skills or strategies to address their issues.

• Create and execute treatment plans based on clinical expertise and knowledge.

• Set SMART goals in collaboration with patients.

• Formulate treatment plans within 72 hours following intake and update or revise them every 4 weeks.

• Complete and maintain client-related documentation, including diagnostic records and progress notes.

• Generate progress notes within 48 hours following each session.

• Prepare and keep required treatment records and reports up to date.

• Assess clients’ physical or mental health condition based on provided client information.

• Collaborate with staff on clinical evaluations and treatment strategies within 2 days of initiating care.

• Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or specialists when necessary.

• Stay informed about new developments in counseling via professional literature, courses, seminars, and interaction with social service agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

• At least two years of professional experience in a counseling environment.

• A current and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in Texas.

• Over 2 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in oncology (preferred).

• 1 year of experience in Telehealth settings (preferred).
